Trudesign Anti-Siphon is a valve that prevents siphoning in the hoses on your boat. It is mounted at the highest point of the hose and allows air to enter when the hose is not under pressure, which stops water from entering the boat.

To avoid siphoning in the hoses, an anti-siphon valve must be installed on both the inlet and outlet hoses. The valve is mounted at the highest point and allows air to enter the hose when it is not under pressure.
The air forms a small pocket in the hose, breaking the water column in the hose and preventing water from entering the boat.
