For small and medium-sized batteries (under 60 Ah): 15A is too powerful and can damage the battery - use a smaller charger (4A-8A). For large car batteries (80-100 Ah), 15A provides fast and efficient charging. For leisure batteries (100-150 Ah), 15A is ideal, as smaller chargers will take a very long time.

For extra large battery banks (200 Ah+), 15A can still be used, but charging takes longer - so an even more powerful charger or multiple chargers in parallel is often more suitable.
