Blue Sea Systems waterproof switches are designed for marine use and fit into existing Contura switch panels. This model has an SPDT function, which allows operation of two circuits with spring return.

Switch function (ON) = spring return
Pole types: SPST = single pole and single "throw" SPDT = single pole and double "throw" DPST = double pole and single "throw" DPDT = double pole and double "throw"
Pole refers to the number of circuits controlled by the switch: SP switches control only one electrical circuit. DP switches control two independent circuits (and function as two identical switches mechanically linked). "Throw" refers to the actuator's end position: ST switches close a circuit in only one position. The other position of the lever is off. DT switches close a circuit in the Up position as well as the Down position (On-On). A DT switch can also have a center position (often On-Off-On).
