Heavy duty models have a reversible pawl that allows cables and straps to be wound in clockwise or counterclockwise.
All DL trailer winches are TUFFPLATE zinc treated as standard. The zinc-treated yellow chromate “TUFFPLATE” design is 3 times more resistant than normal zinc-treated winches and is 30% better resistant to corrosion. All winches without a return brake allow freewheeling of the drum when the pawl is not engaged.
