All DL trailer winches are TUFFPLATE zinc treated as standard. The zinc treated yellow chromate "TUFFPLATE" design is 3 times more resistant than normal zinc treated winches and is 30% better resistant to corrosion. All winches without a return brake allow free-spooling on the wheel when the pawl is not engaged.
