The motor is space-saving and maximizes your cabin space. Pod 1.0 Evo is almost silent, so you can only hear the water. A virtually silent motor with no exhaust, fuel, or oil. Save on expensive servicing costs for your engine; this motor is maintenance-free. The 2-blade composite propeller has 1200 revolutions.

E-Series lithium battery The motor is supplied without a battery. We recommend choosing one of Epropulsion's original batteries. 48V E-Series lithium batteries are the perfect match for your Pod Drive. Choose between: E60 / 3072 Wh / 48 V E163 / 8345 Wh / 48 V

Pod 1.0 Evo controls When purchasing a control with LCD display, you can see charge level, voltage, and remaining sailing time. You can find the control that best suits your boat in the "electric motor accessories" menu.

Hydrogeneration The Pod 1.0 Evo motor uses hydrogeneration to generate power for the battery while you are sailing. When the boat gets above 3 knots, it starts charging the battery. This means that when you use the motor on, for example, a sailboat, the resistance on the propeller will generate power when you are not using the motor. However, the maximum charging rate is 10 Amps at 10 knots.

MOB wristband Waterproof and wireless safety wristband that is optional extra equipment. The wristband shuts down the Pod Drive motor immediately in the event of man overboard. Pod Drive can be connected to up to 8 safety wristbands.
