Smart Gateway RS‑485 to N2K connects the ePropulsion Evo system to the boat's NMEA2000 network. It gives you a complete overview of motor power, battery state of charge and other key data directly on compatible onboard displays. This makes operation easier to follow and helps you monitor energy consumption while underway. The gateway receives system data from ePropulsion motors and accessories via the RS‑485 connection. It then sends the information onward through the NMEA2000 bus via its CAN interface. Power is supplied via the CAN connection, making installation simple and without an external power supply. The unit can handle multiple RS‑485 sources at the same time through three separate ports. This provides installation flexibility and makes it suitable for Evo motors with extra accessories or battery packs. The CAN port ensures stable data transfer and compatibility with common marine MFDs. Data such as state of charge (SOC) and motor power are shown here in real time, so you can plan range and load more accurately.
