Organic and gentle Kapok is a 100% organic natural material! No chemicals or artificial fertilizers are used in production or processing, which is carried out manually and without waste products.
Comfortable Kapok fibers are waxy hollow tubes with trapped air that provide a superb insulating effect, reflecting body heat in a pleasant way. At the same time, kapok is the world's lightest natural material! It is a full 6 times lighter than cotton and is silky-soft and highly elastic. Kapok also has great buoyancy and floats - which is why it was previously used in life jackets.
