The trim tab set consists of 2 cylinders fitted with 1.8 m cable, 2 trim tabs with mounting brackets and screws, and 6.1 m extension cable fitted with connectors for plug and play. REMEMBER control panel.

How are trim tabs used?

In waves, trim tabs are adjusted slightly down by pressing Bow Down on both switches. This brings the bow down while you maintain speed. This adjustment helps the hull absorb the impact of the waves, resulting in a more efficient and comfortable ride. In waves, trim tabs should be fully raised by pressing Bow Up on the switches. The trim tabs will help lift the stern so the bow does not dig into the waves.

In side wind, trim tabs are adjusted down on the leeward side by pressing Bow Down on the windward side until the boat is level, reducing wake and giving a more comfortable ride.

With side weight, trim tabs are adjusted down on the side where the weight is located by pressing Bow Down on the weighted side until the boat is level, reducing wake and giving a more comfortable ride.

For takeoff, trim tabs are adjusted fully down by pressing Bow Down on both sides. This gives the stern more lift and lowers the bow of the boat. When you accelerate, speed increases and you adjust the trim by pressing Bow Up on both switches until the trim feels right.

Safety while the boat is underway: trim tabs should be used with caution as they have a major effect on the boat’s stability.
