Developed for sailboats where simple and effective shade in the cockpit is desired. It is suitable for use both in port and at anchor and provides greater comfort on sunny days.
The sun awning is made of durable, resin-treated polyester, which provides high protection against UV radiation and withstands the marine environment. The construction is lightweight yet robust, and the fabric retains its shape during use.
The installation is flexible and can be adapted to different rig setups. The sun awning can be attached along the sides to the lifeline or forestay and lifted in the center for optimal coverage.
The integrated stainless steel rings provide multiple attachment points and make it easy to adjust tension and position. This makes the sun awning suitable for many types of sailboats without fixed fittings.
