Phoenix engine mount is designed for marine use and withstands the loads that can occur in an engine room. It helps transfer the engine’s power to the vessel’s propulsion with minimal vibration and noise.

To transfer the engine’s power to the vessel’s propulsion with as little vibration and noise as possible, you must use the correct size engine mount. Shore indicates the hardness of the damper. 55 is normally suitable for most engine installations, but there may be situations where you want a softer or harder mount. Talk to your engine mechanic about which hardness will suit your boat.
Calculate which mount you need: When you need to calculate which mount you need, you must think about where the center point is in the engine installation. So it is often the case that you need 2 sets with different hardness. It is the weight of the entire installation including oil and water, and it is better to choose one that is a little too soft than one that is too hard.
