PSP Silicone Tape is a specialized tape used to seal leaks in water or exhaust pipes onboard a boat. It can also be used in a range of emergency situations and is designed to withstand extreme temperatures and chemicals.

Originally developed for the U.S. military. PSP Silicone Tape provides a reliable solution for leaks in water or exhaust pipes, as well as a wide range of other sealing applications in emergency situations onboard. Effective in temperatures from -50˚ C to + 260˚ C. The silicone tape also insulates 8000V per stretched layer. Tensile strength has been tested at over 700PSI and will effectively seal leaks up to 85PSI (6 bar).
PSP Silicone Tape has good resistance to weak acids, fuels, oils, solvents, saltwater, ozone, UV light, and flames. All of this gives the tape a wide range of applications where, in an emergency, damage can be reduced quickly and effectively and you can get safely back to port.
