12-volt starter 8M6007284 is used on selected 35-55 hp Chrysler/US marine outboard motors. Replaces OEM starters: CHRYSLER MARINE 48-0955, -9955, 49-0955, 61-6955, A85955. Robust construction with high-temperature epoxy armatures provides strength to secure and insulate wires against corrosion. Permanent magnet design for high reliability, more torque, and longer service life. Units built with 90/10 copper bushings or heavy-duty needle bearings for a longer and reliable service life.
