Quicksilver 8M6008002 Aluminium Anode Kit is designed to protect Volvo sterndrives from the harmful effects of galvanic corrosion. This complete kit includes aluminium anodes and stainless steel mounting hardware, ensuring a precise OEM fit and easy installation. Aluminium is the preferred material for saltwater and brackish water, as it provides longer-lasting protection and is up to 50% lighter than zinc. With included hardware and clear instructions, you can quickly and easily replace the anodes and ensure that your drive unit remains protected under all conditions.
Quicksilver anodes meet military standard MIL-A-24779 (SH), which means you get maximum corrosion protection and a solution tested to deliver long service life. By choosing this kit, you reduce the risk of costly repairs and ensure that your sterndrive performs optimally for many years to come.
