Each piece of furniture is carefully hand-finished. It is oiled with teak oil three times and hand-sanded between each coat to achieve a silky-smooth teak surface.
Woven-seat construction was originally designed to drain, for example, the cockpit in rough weather at sea, but it is also highly decorative in many other settings.
Thai teak and good craftsmanship are an unbeatable combination. Each part is carefully adjusted before assembly. The tables are assembled by hand, and fit and finish are thoroughly checked. Finally, the surface is sanded to give the teak a silky matte finish.
For centuries, teak has proven its value in outdoor construction. The natural oils in the wood allow it to withstand wind and weather for years without damage. Teak is also resistant to attack from insects and fungus.
