Ronstan Ballslide batten car is a mainsail car that uses the patented Ballslide system. It works with the existing luff groove in the mast, eliminating the need for a track and making installation easier.

Fast, simple and reliable. The patented Ronstan BallslideTM system uses the existing luff groove in the mast. That means no track needs to be installed. The BallslideTM cars have so-called "captive ball bearings", which means the balls stay in the car even when it is not mounted, so it can easily be removed and fitted to the mast when the mainsail needs to be installed. BallslideTM cars fit the most popular masts and boats up to 60 feet.· The through-bolted ball bearings make it easier and faster to hoist and lower the sail.· No track is required. BallslideTM uses the existing luff groove· The range includes all parts needed to create a complete system.
