The anode protects shafts against corrosion and is suitable for installations with fixed shaft systems in saltwater. It provides reliable operation by continuously sacrificing itself to absorb corrosion before the shaft is affected. The design is cast in one piece and made for secure mounting. The material breaks down in a controlled way and ensures consistent protection while underway. The anode is used on installations with a 1 3/4" shaft and fits standard bushings in this size. It can be used on many motorboats and sailboats with matching dimensions.
INSTRUCTIONS Open the anode, place it around the shaft, and tighten the bolts evenly. Replace the anode when about half has worn away.
