ULTRAFLEX engine control cables are made of plastic-coated stainless steel. Resistant to UV light and saltwater, with outstanding flexibility, strength and always smooth operation. Meets all engine manufacturers' requirements and can, using special fittings, be adapted to virtually all engines.
HOW TO FIND OUT HOW LONG YOUR CABLE NEEDS TO BE:
- Measure the distance from the centre of your engine to the corner of the boat, line A.
- Then measure the distance from the centre of your control box to the corner of the boat, line B.
- Then add the two lengths together (A+B), then add 3 ft so the cable is long enough for the engine to have full freedom of movement.
- Gear/throttle cable = total length.
