ULTRAFLEX engine control cables are made of plastic-coated stainless steel. Resistant to UV light, saltwater, and with outstanding flexibility, strength, and always smooth operation. Meets all engine manufacturers' requirements and can, using special fittings, be adapted to virtually all engines.
HOW TO FIND OUT HOW LONG YOUR CABLE SHOULD BE:
- Measure the distance from the center of your engine to the corner of the boat, line A.
- Then measure the distance from the center of your control box to the corner of the boat, line B.
- Then add the two lengths together (A+B), then add 3 feet so the cable is long enough for the engine to have full range of motion.
- Gear/throttle cable = total length.
