ULTRAFLEX engine control cables are made of plastic-coated stainless steel. Resistant to UV light and saltwater, with outstanding flexibility, strength, and consistently smooth operation. They meet all engine manufacturers' requirements and can be adapted to virtually all engines using special fittings.
HOW TO FIND OUT HOW LONG YOUR CABLE NEEDS TO BE:
- Measure the distance from the centre of your engine to the corner of the boat, line A.
- Then measure the distance from the centre of your control box to the boat's corner, line B.
- Then add the two lengths together (A+B), then add 3 feet so the cable is long enough for the engine to have full freedom of movement.
- Gear/throttle cable = total length.
