Ultraflex Steering Cable M58 is a plastic-coated R/F cable designed for use with steering boxes such as T67 Ultraflex and C230/C231 MORSE®. It is resistant to ultraviolet light and saltwater, making it ideal for marine use.

ULTRAFLEX steering cables are plastic-coated R/F steel with steel inner cable and stainless steel push arm. Resistant to ultraviolet light and saltwater. Cable type and length are always printed on the outer cable. The length is in feet (305 mm) and measured from the mounting point in the steering box to the end of the push arm halfway extended.

Example A (Fig. 1) Length = A+B+C minus 10 cm for each 90º bend + 30.5 cm for mounting on the engine. Ex.: A = 50 + B = 250 + C = 80 minus 20 cm for 2 pcs. 90º bends = 360 + 30.5 cm = 390.5 cm 390.5 cm : 30.5 = 12.8 feet. A 13-foot cable should therefore be selected
