Description
The AISI 316 stainless steel turnbuckle is used to secure and tension a steel wire. It can also be used to fasten a mast to a spreader to stabilize the mast and the boat.

A turnbuckle is used to secure and tension a steel wire so that the wire can only move in one direction. In addition, they can be used to fasten a mast to so-called spreaders, to stabilize the mast and thereby the boat.
You unscrew the two "forks" from each other and tighten them with a nut. Then you mount it in the desired place and tighten the turnbuckle by inserting a thin screwdriver or similar through the small hole in the middle and turning until the wire is fully tensioned.
